The Bettendorf Community School District is proud to host its Annual Future Ready Month throughout May. This month-long celebration is designed to inspire and support students as they explore future career pathways and post-secondary opportunities.

Future Ready Month features engaging events, hands-on experiences, and meaningful conversations aimed at helping students envision and prepare for life after high school. Highlights include career exploration activities, guest speakers, and a special celebration honoring our graduating seniors and their next steps whether it be college, career, or military service.

Throughout the month:

1st, 2nd and 3rd Grade - Community Readers
Volunteers will read a career-related book (will be provided) to the students and then share a little about their own career journey. We still need volunteers: Sign up here!

4th Grade Classrooms – Career Day Showcase
Volunteers will speak about their career, how they achieved their current role, what they love about their job, and other highlights from their professional journey. We still need volunteers: All spots are full - check here for time/day information to cover events.
